Summer Cider

Ingredients: 50 ml of Pimm’s, ½ pint of cider, chopped fruits like grapes, apples, oranges, strawberries.

Pour the cider and Pimm’s into a large jug and add chopped fruit and ice.

Hot Cider Toddy

Ingredients: couple of cloves, ½-pint cider, tablespoon honey per glass, half a lemon’s juice, chopped ginger.

Pour the cider, lemon juice, ginger and cloves into a saucepan and simmer for twenty minutes over medium heat. Pour into glasses and sweeten with honey before enjoying.

Spicy Hot Cider

Ingredients: one litre of cider, one orange peel, and tablespoon of cider brandy, four tablespoons of honey, additional apple, 6 cinnamon sticks, and apple studded with cloves.

Remove the core from one of the apple and cut into thin slices. Place in a large saucepan over low heat and add the rest of the ingredients for about thirty minutes without boiling the mixture. Remove from heat, cool down and enjoy.

Mulled Cider

Ingredients: one litre of cider, tablespoon of rum, additional apple, six cinnamon sticks, and apple studded with cloves.

Remove the core from one of the apple and cut into thin slices. Place in a large saucepan over low heat and add the rest of the ingredients for about thirty minutes without boiling the mixture. Remove from heat, cool down and enjoy.

Citrus Cider

Ingredients: 4 ounces of apple cider, 2 ounces scotch, ¾-ounce simple syrup, 1 sprig fresh lavender, lemon wedge

Combine all the ingredients except lavender and lemon in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously before garnishing and serving.

Pomegranate and Cider Margarita

Ingredients: 4 ounces apple cider, 2 ounces pomegranate juice, 2 ounces tequila, ½ ounce lime juice, ½ ounce simple syrup an coarse salt.

First, wet the rim of the glass in water, dip in salt and combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, strain and enjoy!
